The Power of Prayer

Let me tell you a short story about Satan and his demons. As a Christian, I always believed Satan was real. Still, I had my doubts as to what Satan might be capable of doing. I never took him seriously, although, at Sunday services, the preacher would tell us in a forceful voice not to listen to Satan. 'He will lure you away from our Lord Christ Jesus.' Then one day, I had an encounter with Satan and his demons which lasted for three years before I was finally able to declare victory over Satan. However, I would not have ever freed myself from Satan if The Holy Spirit had not given me a blood prayer to pray. Try it; it works. As to those of you who have never had to pray as I did to save your own Soul from hell and to keep you from the hands of Satan, I have something to say to you.

First of all, prayer does work. When Satan first attacked me, I waited roughly three days before my pleas to our Father in heaven for help finally arrived. I believe in the power of prayer for that reason. When you pray as hard as I did for hours every day for three days and then hear the sweet voice of The Holy Spirit, you genuinely know what it feels like to have your prayer answered. Only one other deity will come to you and comfort you the way I was comforted by The Holy Spirit, and that is our Lord Christ Jesus. The voice of The Holy Spirit was kind and reassuring. Speaking with The Holy Spirit was like the voice of a mother consoling her child who was fearful and crying after having fallen down on a gravel road. Do you remember how your mother could be so comforting to you when you would have a painful injury? At least it seemed very painful at the time, when we were still relatively young and when every little pain seemed to hurt so very bad. Then our mother would come and pick us up and comfort us and tell us that everything would be alright. "Just give it a little time," she might say, "the pain will soon go away." And, we might say, "but it hurts so much." Then as we grew older, we could handle the pain without a great deal of fear. Anyway, that was the way it felt to me whenever The Holy Spirit would come to me after Satan had spiritually attacked me for some while.

From day to day and even minute to minute, I did not know what to expect during the attacks by Satan. All I knew was that this was horrifyingly real, and I always feared what Satan might throw at me next. Sometimes Satan would make me feel as though I was dead. I felt cold all the way through to my bones and could not get warm. I would cover myself in a blanket and still feel cold. When this horrible chill came over me, I got the impression that this must be what it feels like to be dead. Now, I know this must sound strange; however, Satan has the power to create such scenarios, and he often does.

I remember one night when I was about to go to sleep. I was feeling pretty low when I detected Satan's knee on the edge of my bed. I could not see Satan, of course. I have never seen Satan or The Holy Spirit. Getting back to my story, I felt the bed give to his weight, and then I felt Satan touch my bed covers and begin to pull them down from around me. I was sitting up in bed at the time, praying with all my heart for help, when I imagined his fingernail pulling on the covers of my bed. It was a very horrifying feeling. It took all the courage I could muster to keep praying. I knew he wanted me to stop praying, and I knew I had to keep praying if I wanted to drive him away. Anyway, when Satan could not get me to panic and hide under my covers or try to flee from his presence, he said to me, "you do not scare easy, that is for sure." And then he left. It was then that I crawled back under the covers and got a little more sleep, which I was not nearly getting enough of since I was always so terrified of what might happen next.

Returning to our subject, which is the power of prayer. The prayer that I was reciting would finally drive Satan away, but only temporarily. I know it seems as though I should be able to get rid of Satan altogether rather than temporarily drive him away with my prayers. However, there was something more going on here that I wish to tell at this time. I will save that for another day. This essay concerns prayer and how it can change your life. It certainly changed mine. Let me explain further.

Before hearing The Holy Spirit speak to me for the first time, I thought it was only a matter of time before I became so weak from Satan's attacks that I would eventually give in, and then my Soul would be lost to Satan. I remember praying one day when I felt Satan's presence, and while I was praying to our Lord God, Satan said, "He cannot help you!" in a demonic-sounding voice. And, it occurred to me, "What if our Lord God cannot hear me?" That was a terrifying thought; since then, I would know my Soul was doomed. And that I would most likely end up in hell. However, just when things seemed hopeless, I heard the sweet and reassuring voice of The Holy Spirit. When first hearing The Holy Spirit's voice, The Holy Spirit gave me a prayer to recite that would help me drive away Satan and his demons. The prayer The Holy Spirit gave me went like this:

"Our Lord God, please protect me from Satan and his demons with the Blood of Christ."

I repeated this prayer over and over throughout the day, and even late at night should I wake up to Satan's presence in my bedroom. Once I began to use this prayer, things began to change for the better in my life. I began to feel stronger, and I gained more confidence in the blood prayer The Holy Spirit gave me and indeed helped me to drive away the evil Satan and his demons for good. Almost immediately, I began to feel more confident that I might be able to survive Satan's attacks after all. Further, I began to realize the power of prayer. When The Holy Spirit gave me the blood prayer to repeat over and over again, it made all the difference.

Just to demonstrate the power of prayer, when I was asleep at night, Satan would come into my room and cause me all kinds of discomforts; I could even hear him coming. There was usually the sound of a creaking wall or floor joist. Sometimes Satan would walk through the bathtub, and I could even detect that sound. Satan came into my room just to torment me and keep me from getting a proper night’s sleep.

Whenever Satan would come to attack me during the night or the light of day, I felt a lot of terror. Sometimes Satan would cause me to have back pain. Other times, I might feel jerking muscles and strange electrical sensations that made the nerves in my legs feel like an electrical storm was going on, and it would keep me from sleeping. Sometimes I woke with a stuffy nose and could not breathe, and I would sit up in bed gasping for air filled with fear since I was completely without air. Sometimes I would wake up hot as if I had a fever, although it was not a fever. It was as if my whole body was being warmed up slowly as I became hotter and hotter, and it often made me wake up in a sweat, and my pillow and bed would be wet. Also, there was the feeling of someone tickling my nose with a feather. It felt as if someone were rubbing a feather on my upper lip and around my lower mouth and ticking my nostrils. It was very irritating, and it kept me from sleeping. Each time this sort of discomfort happened, I would pray to our Lord God, and each and every time, our Lord God would answer my prayers, and whatever pain, discomfort, or tickling sensation I had would go away, and then I could sleep. My prayers were answered within minutes. I did not have to wait long at all.

So, you see, prayer does work. I can attest to that fact numerous times. Try the blood prayer for yourself; only say the blood prayer three times due to the fact that Satan can block our prayers. Let me type the prayer out for you so you can try it whenever you need our Lord God to intervene in your life. Please repeat the prayer the way I will type it. It is important that you do it this way.

My Father, please protect me with the blood of Christ, for Christ is my Lord and Savior.

My Father, please protect me with the blood of Christ, for Christ is my Lord and Savior.

My Father, please protect me with the blood of Christ, for Christ is my Lord and Savior.

This my Father, I ask in Christ's name, and I thank you. Amen!

The most powerful prayer would be to repeat the above prayer three times in succession. This is due to the fact that you are then praying to the Trinity of our Lord God, the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit. For example, 3 by 3 by 3 is 9 times in succession. That is why it is such a powerful prayer.

Adios for now, my friends.
