The On-Going Genocide in Gaza
The one event in history that has caused me much personal anguish in my 72 years of life is the way in which the Palestinian people in Israel have been treated since 1946 when the United Nations took Palestinian land, and gave it to European Jews, primarily. The Israeli's have treated the Palestinian people like animals unfit for life or respect for over 70 years. Today, the Palestinian people in Gaza have been forced to endure some of the cruelest treatment I have ever thought possible for humans to undergo and still survive. Estimates are as many as 600,000 Palestinian men, women, and children have died during the continuing onslaught of the Israel Defense Forces. This out of a total population of 2 1/2 million people. The Israel Defense Forces have nearly leveled ever habitable structure in Gaza, including schools, churches, and hospitals, and this includes Christian Palestinian churches. Today, there is a temporary cease fire, but that has not stopped the IDF from continuing to kill innocent men, women, and children. Even though the Palestinian people have lost a large portion of their population, approximately 24%, the IDF has still not defeated Hamas which continues to fight and inflict heavy causalities on Israel ground forces.
There are currently on-going negotiations between Israel and Hamas and Hamas refuses to surrender to Israel. Talk about spunk! Knowing how Palestinian prisoners are treated in Israel detention facilities I can understand why Hamas would rather fight to the death than be taken alive. The sadistic behavior of the IDF forces with their sodomistic desires in hopes of humiliating their Palestinian prisoners will result in more IDF deaths as such behavior goes to strengthen the resolve of the Palestinian people and Hamas. The sadistic behavior of the young men who make up the Israel Defense Forces places hard doubt in the minds of other soldiers who are asked to fight alongside them such as the United States military. I certainly do not want our young soldiers to become like the IDF soldiers or like our political leaders whose behavior has become more and more like those of the Israeli leadership who seem to have no problem with genocide, the murder of innocent children, or overt racist behavior. Our leadership has lost all moral restraint when it comes to Israel.
One day soon the Israeli people will have to face what they themselves have become. Our Lord Christ Jesus has stated several times, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." This is a law of our Lord God and not just a nice saying. One day the Israeli nation will face being done to, how they have done to others.
The neighbors of Israel have been intimidated by Israel since it developed atomic and later nuclear weapons. Israel regularly bomb its neighbors knowing that their neighbor nations will dare not retaliate for fear that Israel may use a nuclear weapon on them. This is the main reason that Israel's neighbor nations have not formed an army to help the trapped Palestinians. The United States will not lift a hand to help the Palestinian people in Gaza or the West Bank because they are heavily influenced by the Israel lobby in the United States and its powerful means to intimidate politicians into doing as they are told. If the United States electorate will not stand up to these Israeli controlled politicians in the House and Senate we may one day find ourselves under the complete control of Israel since they have taken control of much of our Federal government from the inside.
The only nation on earth that is trying to help the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank is Iran. They have made it part of the Memorandum of Understanding that for there to be lasting peace between the United States, Israel, and Iran, that all military attacks on Gaza and Lebanon must end. They have recently included the West Bank in their demands. I find this somewhat ironic that those who should be standing with the Palestinian people is not a Christian nation, but an Islamic nation. Where we once embraced the down trodden we now support the oppressor.
The lives of the Palestinian people are suffering terribly because the United States is sending Israel all the munitions and military support they demand from the United States. The United States is also providing Israel political support in the United Nations by vetoing every resolution the United Nations security council brings to the table in opposition to Israel's naked aggression in the Middle East. This makes the United States as responsible for genocide in Gaza as are the Israeli's. We and our future generations will have to live with knowing that we once supported genocide against the Palestinian people and we may never live it down. It is a shameful chapter in U.S. history.
