Satan's Deceptions

In the Book of Matthew and the Book of Luke our Lord Christ Jesus gives a description of himself which often escapes readers attention. In both Matthew and Luke, Christ defends himself against accusations by a few in the crowd who say, "No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons." (Luke 11: 15, NLT).
He knew their thoughts, so he said, "Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A family splintered by feuding will fall apart. You say I am empowered by Satan. But if
Satan is divided and fighting against himself, how can his kingdom survive? And if I am
empowered by Satan, what about your own exorcists? They cast out demons, too, so
they will condemn you for what you have said. But if I am casting out demons by the
power of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you." (Luke 11: 17-20, NLT).
Is it not rather strange that we can read through the entire Old Testament and rarely read anything about Satan's existence. The Book of Job being one exception. Yet, here we are in Matthew and Luke, which speaks very clearly of Satan's existence and of the demon’s existence under Satan's charge as well. Our Lord Christ Jesus even acknowledges the Pharisees have exorcists that cast out demons. Why is this hardly mentioned in the Old Testament? Truly, our Lord Christ Jesus knows Satan does exist as it is made clear in his own spoken words. Let us read what Christ states next in Luke 11: 21.
For when a strong man is fully armed and guards his palace, his possessions are safe--
until someone, even stronger attacks and overpowers him, strips him of his weapons, and carries off his belongings. (Luke 11: 21-22, NLT).
In these verses, the strong man who is fully armed and guarding his palace is Satan. Satan's possessions are safe until someone even stronger comes along and overpowers him, strips him of his weapons, and carries off his belongings. Our Lord Christ Jesus is stronger than Satan. It is our Lord Christ Jesus who has overpowered Satan and stripped him of his possessions here on earth. What possessions of Satan does Christ want? Does he want Satan's cloak, his sandals, his food, perhaps his armor, his palace and all the precious metals and precious stones there? No, earthly possessions are not what our Lord Christ Jesus seeks at all. The possessions our Lord Christ Jesus seeks to take from Satan are the Souls of our Fathers people, which is all the peoples of earth. Our Lord Christ Jesus wants to take them back and carry them safely to Heaven and return them to our Father who created them. You see, it was Satan who stole all of the Souls on earth from our Father in Heaven. (Revelation 12: 7-9). These Souls are not Satan's to keep since they do not belong to him. They rightfully belong to our Father in Heaven who created them. Satan stole them to establish his own kingdom on earth. Our Lord Christ Jesus came all the way from Heaven to this world to save all of the Souls now in Satan's possessions and destroy Satan's works on earth.
Our Lord Christ Jesus went on to say that,
"Anyone who isn't with me opposes me, and anyone who isn't working with me is actually working against me." (Luke 11: 23, NLT).
Is this not an interesting statement? Our Lord Christ Jesus is saying there is no middle ground. If you are not with him then you oppose him, and if you are not working with him you are working against him. However, this does not mean you cannot join our Lord Christ Jesus at any time.
How many people in this world are working against him? Probably most of the world. Is the nation of Israel with our Lord Christ Jesus or against him? Well, we know Orthodox Jews believe our Lord Christ Jesus was nothing more than a mere man. They believe Christ Jesus was not a prophet and he was not a man of God. This means Israel must be working against our Lord Christ Jesus. Should we then be supporting Israel no matter what they do? No, since then we would be working with the people of Israel and opposing the work of our Lord Christ Jesus whom they are in opposition with.
Anyone who says that Jesus is not the Christ. Anyone who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist. Anyone who denies the Son doesn't have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. (1st John 2: 22-23, NLT).
The verses above from 1st John make it clear that Israel is not with our Lord Christ Jesus since they deny he is the Christ, the Messiah. It is important to understand by supporting Israel without question, we are siding against our Lord Christ Jesus. This is something we do not want to do. We must follow Christ's teachings and not adopt the ways of Israel. Instead, if we truly want to be friends of Israel then we must encourage them to respect their neighbors, love their neighbors, and pray for their neighbors. Also, we must not give them the arms and ammunition they need to destroy human life. By giving Israel the means to destroy their neighbors and innocent lives, we then bear the same grave sin. We will have to account for these sins and if we do not ask our Lord Christ Jesus to forgive us for what we have become a part of then, we risk going to hell. If you speak out against our government supplying Israel with the arms and ammunition they are using against innocent children and babies as well as starving innocent children to death, then we will not be held accountable for what our nation is doing. We do not have to speak loudly, just speak against it with your friends and perhaps email others concerning your doubts.
Jesus told them,
"If God were your Father, you would love me, because I have come to you from God. I am not here on my own, but he sent me. Why can't you understand what I am saying? It's because you can't even hear me! For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies. So, when I tell the truth, you just naturally don't believe me! Which of you can truthfully accuse me of sin? And since I am telling you the truth, why don't you believe me? Anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God. But you don't listen because you don't belong to God." (John 8: 42-47, NLT).
This is all I want to say on this subject for now. I do hope you all have a very nice remaining day! Adios for now my friends.
